Shipping Policies & Info
We currently ship to the United States only. All gift baskets can be shipped to any of the 50 states. 75% of the US delivers in 3 business days or less via Ground as we our shipping facility is centrally located.
Same Day Shipping
Orders received before 10:30AM Mountain Time (for Expedited shipping) and 12PM Noon Mountain Time (for Ground shipping) weekdays are generally shipped the same business day unless otherwise specified. This is our standard procedure and not a guarantee. Orders received after that time and on weekends or holidays are shipped the next business day. Although we place a high priority on getting your order shipped as soon as possible, please note we make no guarantees as large orders, seasonal peaks, severe weather conditions or other circumstances may sometimes delay shipping.
Shipping Policies
We ship per each carrier’s rules and regulations and are bound to their policies. Once the package has been handed to the shipping carrier that liability of the package no longer lies with Pet Pal Gifts nor are we liable for lost or stolen merchandise. Pet Pal Gifts has no control over a carrier’s actual delivery time or their decision if your location is considered "safe" to leave a package. If a delivery attempt has been made, the carrier will leave a notice which the recipient must follow. Pet Pal Gifts will not refund or reship any package that has been marked as "Delivered" by the carrier even if recipient claims non-receipt. We suggest that the recipient contact the delivering carrier to verify where parcel was placed. If a package is returned for any reason without prior return authorization, no refund will be issued.
Shipping Container:
Currently, all orders are shipped in standard brown boxes. We are an environmentally friendly company and in doing our part upon occasion will ship using recycled boxes. This benefits both our landfills and is one small way in keeping our costs down.
Shipping Methods
Providing the most economical shipping cost to you is very important and therefore we ship using several carriers. Various shipping methods will be used to ensure your gift arrives within the timeframe you select. Please supply both the physical address and P.O. Box information with all orders.
Carrier Info & Delivery Times
- Ground - Delivers in 5 business days.
- 2 - 3 Day - Delivers within 3 business days.
- 2 Day - Delivers in 2 days.
- Next Day - Delivers next business day with limited exceptions.
- UPS Standard to Canada - Selecting this option will deliver your gift within Canada to include all import and duty taxes along with any brokerage fees. No additional fees will be incurred by the recipient. Delivery service is ground and time varies depending on the delivering location. Please allow 7 - 10 business days for delivery. Tracking will be provided so that you may follow your gift’s progress thru UPS’s transport and delivering system.
Additional Fees:
UPS Redirect Fee - If a wrong/insufficient address was provided at time of order or if your package needs to be redirected for any reason, a redirect fee will be charged to you. The Redirect Fees are as follows:
- Ground Redirect $10
- Air Redirect $15
- Intercept Fee $15
UPS Redirect Fee - If a wrong/insufficient address was provided at time of order or if your package needs to be redirected for any reason, a redirect fee will be charged to you. Return Package Fee - A Redirect Fee of $10 plus original shipping cost for return. Per UPS policy, all returned parcels will be returned and billed using the same service as originally shipped. Therefore Next Day Air parcels will be returned Next Day Air.
If package is redirected multiple times, a redirect fee each time will be assessed.
USPS Redirect Fees - If your package was shipped using USPS and a wrong/insufficient address was provided at the time of order and your package can not be delivered for any reason, the package will be returned to us as “undeliverable”. Should this happen no refunds will be issued.
Disclaimer:
With the volume that any shipping carrier delivers on any given day throughout the world, there are some packages that simply do not reach their destination within the timeframe expected. It is very unfortunate when this happens however, we cannot provide a financial guarantee on another company’s performance. We trust you will understand.

Bulk Shipping
Bulk shipping is determined by the number of boxes required to safely ship your gifts. One box is allowed for regular shipping so if your order requires multiple shipping boxes, you will be billed accordingly.
